Frequently asked questions

I haven't received my sign-in email.

Magic-link emails usually arrive within 30 seconds. If yours hasn't, check your spam folder, then try again with the email address you signed up with — typos are the most common cause. The email comes from a periflow.io address; if it's blocked at your mail provider, please email us from a different address and we'll help.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are processed by Apple and Google, so cancellation happens in your device settings rather than inside PeriFlow:

iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → PeriFlow → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → PeriFlow → Cancel Subscription.

You'll keep access to Premium until the end of your current billing period. If you cancel during the 7-day free trial, you won't be charged.

How do I delete my account?

Open PeriFlow → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. We'll ask you to confirm twice, then wipe everything. Your account, cycle history, symptom logs, journals, fasts, and meals are removed from our servers within seconds. Backups are purged within 30 days.

Will my data follow me to a new phone?

Yes, as long as you've signed in. Sign in on the new phone with the same email or social provider you used originally, and your cycle history, symptom logs, journals, fasts, meals, and favourites will appear automatically. Without an account, your data is device-local — switching phones means starting over.

I think I've spotted a bug.

Email hello@periflow.io with: which device you're on (iPhone 15, etc.), the iOS / Android version, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. A screenshot or short screen recording is gold.

Is PeriFlow medical advice?

No. PeriFlow is a wellness app — it's a daily companion for navigating perimenopause, not a substitute for medical care. The phase descriptions, meal guidance, and symptom-pattern observations are educational and based on general reproductive endocrinology research. For anything specific to your individual health — particularly if you're on HRT, taking medication, or have a medical condition — please talk to a qualified clinician.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in Ireland (EU). Encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell it, never share it with advertisers, and never use it to train machine-learning models. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
